Enchai are competitive pelt-covered land slugs with a preference for cold environments that will eat anything organic.

Physiology

Enchai are descended from open terrain-dwelling omnivores. They cheerfully consume almost any kind of organic material.

Their body pattern is that of a bilaterally symmetrical non-humanoid. Some Humans consider them to have a body shape parallel to slugs.

• They are skiapods.

The average Enchai is around 2.5 meters long, can raise itself up to a height of around a meter, and masses around 200 kg -- they are substantially larger than Humans.

Enchai have a thick hairy pelt and layers of insulating fat.

They are naturally adapted to far colder temperature ranges and substantially lower atmospheric pressures than Humans, and prefer a slightly lower gravity.
