The Akkigish class Far Trader is a civilian Far Trader. This design uses the same basic hull and layout as the Akkigish Class Subsidized Merchant. The Akkigish is largely designed around use as a subsidized merchant.

Description

It has a reduced cargo capacity of 44 dTons which offsets the additional 40 dTons of fuel and 4 dTons of jump drive needed give the ship a Jump-2 capability.

History & Background

There also exists a Akkigish class Subsidized Merchant variant, which uses the same hull and basic layout.
