Description (Specifications)
The Solomani Imperium is the spiritual descendant of Solomani Confederation. However, it has abandoned cooperation for authoritarianism and has institutionalized racism.
History & Background (Dossier)
Members and ideologues of the Solomani Confederation that survived the Collapse consolidated their resources in Neworld Sector. The advances of infected starships and vampire fleets were slowed by the relatively astrographically sparse sector. While not as effective as the gulf created by the Great Rift, it did give the Solomani forces a chance to create safe havens and establish defenses.
However, these survivors of the Confederation decided to take a hard line with regards to survival. Order is kept through intimidation and repression. Solomani Security (SolSec) pervades all aspects of daily life in order to weed out dissent. All aliens and non-human Terrans are considered second class citizens at best. Viral entities are considered abominations and must be destroyed at any cost.
