The Damgarrii class Passenger Launch is a venerated mercantile smallcraft
- It is a civilian ship, a smallcraft and a Launch.
- It is most commonly associated with the March class Subsidized Merchant or Type R class Subsidized Merchant.
Description (Specifications)
Ship's Boat: Launch mounted dorsally with integral lifeboat capability, the launch is also used for errands and transfers. Launch mounts for the boat are located on dorsal surface of merchant dismounts for errands and transfers. Maneuver Drives are mounted underneath the fuselage of the Ship’s Boat. [1]
A Launch (also called Lifeboat) uses a 20-ton hull, is capable of 1-G acceleration, carries one ton of fuel tankage, and has a crew of two. [2]
A launch may mount missile racks and sandcasters; it may not mount lasers as weapons. The craft has thirteen tons excess space available for custom use, and typically cost MCr14. [2]
