Subsector I of Fornast Sector.

The core-spinward half of this subsector is on the Ganad Main, providing a corridor into the rim-trailing quadrant of Core Sector from the Derri, Spas, and Fornast/Core/Lishun mains.

  • The rim-trailing portion of the subsector is dominated by the Brangwen Loop, also commonly known as the Imaka Ring, bridging the gap between the Ganad Main at Haley and Klose, through the Ring via Algenib or Belshaug and Beatric, and the Tharrynra Main at Nirma.
  • The Bapar Cluster, on the border between the Imaka and Irinkuka subsectors, also sees a fair amount of traffic from the Imaka Ring, and provides a secondary bridge to the Tharrynra Main in Tharrynra Subsector.

Description[edit]

The Imaka Subsector is defended by 121st Fleet.

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Imaka, subsector I of Fornast, contains 33 worlds with an estimated combined population of 7 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,231, and a total economy of BCr24,505. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr2,113 through 31 starports (7 Class A, 12 Class B, 9 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 368,065 people. Driving this interstellar trade are five Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, six Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Imaka maintain three Naval bases and three Scout bases. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 12). The highest technology level is 13 at Brangwen (Fornast 0527), Belshaug (Fornast 0625), Immupi (Fornast 0627), and Olon (Fornast 0629).

Imaka, subsector I of Fornast, contains 45 stars and 361 identified planets; 22 monostellar systems, ten binary systems, one trinary system, and no systems with four or more stars. 24 of the 33 systems (72%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, four Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, five Poor (Po) worlds, three Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.

Imaka has an estimated population of 7 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, four Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 15 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Misharkin (Fornast 0226). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.

Third Imperium, Domain of Sylea[edit]

The Third Imperium, Domain of Sylea has jurisdiction over all of the worlds with an estimated combined population of 7 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,231, and a total economy of BCr24,505. The governments in the Third Imperium, Domain of Sylea maintain three Naval bases and three Scout bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 12). The highest technology level is 13 at Brangwen (Fornast 0527), Belshaug (Fornast 0625), Immupi (Fornast 0627), and Olon (Fornast 0629).
