The Trelyn Main is a trade route located within Far Frontiers and Vanguard Reaches Sectors.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Trelyn Main is a small Main of twenty-three systems running between the rimward subsectors of Far Frontiers Sector and the coreward regions of the Vanguard Reaches.
- An eclectic mix of high cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the Main, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.
- Worlds lying within the main are highlighted in tan.
Its systems are patrolled by military vessels, which suppress piracy and guarantee interstellar trade.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Main is an important local astrographic feature.
It consists of a chain of 23 star systems, each lying 1 parsec from its neighbor (within jump-1).
The Main lies almost entirely within the Trelyn Domain, a strongly pro-Imperial state. The only systems on the Main that aren't members of the Domain are Fomor (a member of the Domain of Alntzar, to spinward-coreward), and Dictic, a non-aligned world at its far trailing edge.
Corporate Activity[edit]
To comply with the terms of its Imperial charter, the Allarton Corporation, the Imperial corporation underpinning the Trelyn Domain, is limited to operations exclusively within the Trelyn Subsector of Vanguard Reaches Sector. Allarton officials and representatives may occasionally conduct business on other worlds of the Domain.
- Corporate operations in other areas of the Vanguard Reaches are conducted under the wholly owned Pan-Melesien Company.
- Corporate operations in the Far Frontiers Sector are conducted under the wholly owned Artesian Company, based at Yster.
Both subsidiary companies may be active on worlds along the length of the Main.
