• Tidal stresses generated by Iantsietlie's large moon cause extreme geological activity.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Iantsietlie has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. While the thin atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

• The world has an abiotic oxygen atmosphere.
• Oxygen is produced by photocatalytic conversion of surface materials by stellar energy.
• Fresh surface material is constantly exposed through processes such as seismic activity, volcanism, or erosion.
• The oxygen rapidly depletes from the atmosphere through oxidization with surface materials: a rough equilibrium between production and depletion exists.
• The world has a low oxygen taint: the percentage of oxygen in the atmosphere varies according to the density of global cloud cover.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Iantsietlie has 05-15% of its surface covered by liquid water or ice. Wilderness refueling will be difficult. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are Hell Worlds or Poor Worlds depending on their atmosphere.

Iantsietlie is a boomtown with a rapidly expanding economy but shockingly poor standards of living. The vast majority of the population are miners and treasure hunters, looking to make their fortune from the worlds mineral riches.

• It is a member world of the Izrats Kriezhlas Unity.
• The resources of the system are being exploited.

A number of businesses, organizations, and private interests are active within the system.

• Commercial traffic is relatively frequent: ships occasionally arrive and depart.
• Commo is filled with signals and private chatter. Communications are in Zdetl.
• A number of commercial navigation beacons will be active.
• A few vessels may be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.

Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date.

World Starport (St)

Iantsietlie has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

World Population (P)

Iantsietlie has a population of 40,000 sophonts (tens of thousands).

• This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
• The population entirely consists of Vlazhdumecta humans.

A few small urban areas, each surrounded by multiple tiny satellite communities.

• Inhabited areas are dotted across the world.

Iantsietlie has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All blade weapons and firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
