The Vengeance class Commerce Raider is a raiding warship.
- It is a paramilitary ship and a Commerce Raider.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Using a 400 ton hull, the Vengeance-class is a small, fast warship designed for predatory commerce raiding. The ship is streamlined, having a hull configuration in the shape of a broad triangle (Wedge Hull), with a flattened ventral plane and a transom stern, featuring three3 small triangular fins. The ship carries a Powerplant-X, giving the ship Jump-3 and Manoeuvre-3G. There is fuel tankage for 60.0 tons, giving one Jump-3 and allowing the use of the powerplant, with around 10.0 tons as a reserve. The standard bridge has a Model/6 ship computer installed.
The ship carries four turrets, with fire control, mechanics, and weapons included. These are usually a combination of lasers, particle accelerators, and missile racks.
A launch is carried in a boat garage beneath the hold. A cargo hold of 80.0 tons is included.
The Vengeance-class requires a crew of 12: commander, pilot, medic, engineer, navigator, steward, and four gunners. There are 6 single crew cabins and 2 double crew cabins. The Vengeance class costs MCr143.75 and takes 15 standard months to build.
