Subsector H of Gzirr!k'l Sector.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
An approximate pronunciation is "U-Tar-ik-ik Kicker Ker", though this is frequently referred to by outsiders as simply "Kicker Subsector".
K'kree influence extends beyond their border only warily here, with a single client state, Courbberaa, shielded from interaction with aliens by several highly xenophobic communities in coreward systems.
The Hive Federation border ends a parsec from the xenophobic worlds of Sucit, Wuveff, and Caldauaq, who for different reasons refuse to participate in a sprawling interstellar society. Immediately spinward of these, Privall and Zoblenn are equally small and mistrustful societies. Not much in the way of interstellar commerce or culture takes place here, though that is perhaps unsurprising given that this is a border region between Hiver and K'kree space, and like all such boundaries is scrupulously avoided by anything K'kree-aligned, and subject to only minimal manipulative meddling by cautious Hivers. Also located just outside Hive space is Grypruffos, where the native culture apparently destroyed itself. The pitiful few survivors have found themselves wards of the FDA.
In practice, most of the small settlements within Hiver borders in this subsector are also rather xenophobic, more member worlds in name than in practice. Someday a Hiver or three might decide to work a Manipulation, or series of, to bring them deeper into the fold, but as things stand in 1105, the functional border of the Federation is the high-profile, heavily populated planet of Phlelkani.
On the sector's trailing border, further from K'kree space, more substantial civilizations are present, including the friendly and well-established asteroid settlements of Crobettos, and the fragmented industrial societies on balkanized Pri'izee.
Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]

These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr1,563 through 24 starports (2 Class A, 7 Class B, 7 Class C, 8 Class D) employing 248,310 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Utarrikik'kr'r maintain 13 Naval bases, three Naval outposts, and two Military bases. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 3 and 10). The highest technology level is 14 at Kuugh' (Gzirr!k'l 2516).
Utarrikik'kr'r, subsector H of Gzirr!k'l, contains 55 stars and 386 identified planets; 17 monostellar systems, 19 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 31 of the 36 systems (86%) have native gas giants. There are two Asteroid (As) belts, four Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, six Poor (Po) worlds, four Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Utarrikik'kr'r has an estimated population of 107 billion distributed across four High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, ten Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 15 Low population (Lo) worlds, and three Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Aaeetr! (Gzirr!k'l 2813) and Phlelkani (Gzirr!k'l 3217). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups.
