The Type ZC class Courier is a TL–14 communications starship. Much like similar ships in the Imperium, multiple "classes" of ships have served in this role during the span of the Zhodani Consulate's existence.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Using a 200-ton hull, the Type ZC is primarily a Courier. It mounts a jump drive-C, maneuver drive-B, and power plant-C, giving a performance of Jump-3 and 2-G acceleration. Fuel tankage for 90 tons supports the power plant and Jump-3. Adjacent to the bridge is a ship computer Model/3. There are 9 staterooms and no low berths. The ship has one hard point and one tons allocated to fire control. Installed on the hard points is a triple turret armed with two Beam Lasers and a Sandcaster. There is one ship's vehicles: a Speeder. Cargo capacity is 11 tons. The hull is streamlined.

The ship requires a crew of five: Pilot/Navigator, Engineer, Medic, Steward, and Gunner. The ship can carry four passengers. The ship costs MCr101.67 (...including discounts and fees). It takes 12 months to build.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
