Tubroyllufotyusk is a high-population, industrial world with a billion or more sophonts in population size.
- As an industrial world, this planet has well-developed manufacturing and processing industries. Manufactured goods are a major export item.
- Its economy is rapidly growing and living conditions are expected to rapidly improve barring outside forces.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
- It is an non-aligned Droyne-dominated world located in the No Return Subsector of Crucis Margin Sector.
- Nearly 100% of the population is composed of Droyne.
- Less than 10% of the population is composed of humans and other non-human sophonts.
- This world was formerly known as Ecija.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
This world was once widely known as "Ecija" and marked as such on older charts before it came to be more popularly known as "Tubroyllufotyusk", the name its inhabitants use.

Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Tubroyllufotyusk is a Meso World between 8,800km and 10,400km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.6G and 0.8G. The horizon will appear about 4.4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Tubroyllufotyusk has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. While a Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- The atmospheric taint does not seem to affect the four billion or so Droyne living here, but the Human minority -- around three percent of the population -- require filter masks.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Tubroyllufotyusk has 35-45% of its surface covered by liquid water. There will be a number of small seas or one larger body of water. Wilderness refueling is possible.

History & Background / Dossier[edit]
This world is the regional centre of Droyne civilization.
For a Droyne world, Tubroyllufotyusk is unusually influential. Its leaders have no great political agenda, but its presence can be a stabilising factor for surrounding systems. Its high population and advanced technology lend it a secure position.
World Starport[edit]
Tubroyllufotyusk has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Population (P)[edit]
Tubroyllufotyusk has a population of 4,000,000,000 sophonts (billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
World Demographics[edit]
- Droyne, 97%
- Some Droyne – perhaps 10% of the planetary populace – live in the wilder parts of the planet in communities ranging from iron-age to about TL-9. These communities seem happy to interact with their high-tech brethren, but have no interest in starfaring society.
- Human, 3%: Many are descendants of Imperial citizens who fled the Psionics Suppressions.
Droyne organise themselves into oytripin, which consist of multiple tyafelmin and dreskayin, and can produce kroylosses.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
- Oynprith
- Droyne Languages: Oynprith is a ceremonial and ritualistic language apparently universal among Droyne communities. Other languages are used in casual day-to-day affairs.
Urbanization[edit]
It is impossible to date the world's cities by appearance or architecture -- they are spotless and nothing significant has changed in centuries or millennia.
- A small Human staff at the starport provide advice on how to avoid the worst pitfalls that can befall a Traveller in the Droyne cities, but there are still a number of hazards. Those who want to sightsee are ignored by the population unless they enter a sensitive area. The Droyne will remove someone whose presence interferes with their business but will ignore someone in mortal peril if there are other tasks to attend to.
World Technology Level[edit]
Tubroyllufotyusk possesses a Technology Level of TL–13 or TL-D in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovideo recorders.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Miniature super-batteries, prototype collectors, advanced fusion plants.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-4.
- The Oytrip of Tubroyllufotyusk has been stable at this level of technology for as long as records about it exist.
World Government[edit]
Tubroyllufotyusk is governed by an Impersonal Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government takes another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy dictates government policy and its execution. Government leadership is reduced to little more than figureheads and does not select the bureaucracy leadership or its members.
World Military[edit]
Tubroyllufotyusk has a sizeable navy. Its vessels are mostly in the escort class (1-2000 tons) but they have impressive capabilities for their size. As is typical of Droyne, Tubroyllufotyusk naval operations are difficult to predict. Vessels will sometimes take incredible risks to assist a merchant ship under attack, and at other times will sail past a vessel in distress. Tubroyllufotyusk ships have been known to take part in joint anti-piracy sweeps with The Reach and other friendly powers.
World Law (L)[edit]
Tubroyllufotyusk has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (outside private residences or visiting starships).
World Economy (Ex)[edit]
This world's economic measurements are: B8G+5
- Resources: B, Abundant
- Labor: 8, Hundreds of Millions
- Infrastructure: G, Very Comprehensive
- Efficiency: +5, Very Advanced

Historical Data[edit]
The web of contacts maintained by Tubroyllufotyusk stretches further than most Droyne communities. During the Psionics Suppressions, a large and well-organised expedition left Imperial territory and headed directly for Tubroyllufotyusk. The Oytrip took the refugees in and subsequently received several further migrations.
World Timeline[edit]
- (805): Psionic Suppressions: A large group of psionic refugees from the Imperium head straight for Tubroyllufotyusk and are taken in by the Droyne there.[2]
