Treah is a pre-agricultural and nonindustrial world lacking adequate development for its economy to become prosperous.
- As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- It is a member of the Aslan Hierate Kyatulyare Vassal in the Iyarl Subsector of Iphigenaia Sector.
- This is a temperate world, with a climate of pleasant, average temperatures, considered to be an ideal or near-ideal environment by many different sophont species.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Treah has a solitary primary star.
- It is an orange main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x4 secondary rocky worlds.
- x1 planetoid belt.
- x3 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zones prime H region.
- It receives moderate levels of stellar energy.
- The world orbits beyond the stars Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Treah is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Treah has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. While a Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- It experiences moderate temperatures.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Treah has 75-85% of its surface covered by liquid water with a few large continents and extensive islands. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Satellites[edit]
Treah retains two small vacuum moons.
- The worlds orbit once every few weeks.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, predominantly watery world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Abundant native life occupying every available ecological niche. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Treah is primarily a transit center. The infrastructure is minimal but living conditions are acceptable.
- The world has been settled by Ihatei Aslan, moving to spinward along the edge of the Great Rift in search of new territories.
- The resources of the system are gradually being exploited.
A number of organizations and private interests are active within the system.
- Commercial traffic is relatively frequent: ships occasionally arrive and depart.
- Commo regularly picks up signals and private chatter. Communications are in Trokh.
- A number of commercial navigation beacons will be active.
- A few vessels may be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.
Aslan settlement began during the 1060s.
- It is a member of the Aslan Hierate Kyatulyare Vassal.
- The world falls under the broad purview of the Seieakh and Aokhalte clans.
- Prior to settlement, Treah was a barren world.
- Construction is ongoing in many areas.
The world is considered to be the "Gateway to the Vassal". It is the terminus of the Aslan Ihatei migration route into the Kyatulyare Vassal.
- Large Aslan transport vessels and their escorts may occasionally be encountered within the system.
- They may be carrying settlers to coreward or returning to the Hierate, to rimward, laden with goods and commodities.
Note that social data, though frequently updated, may be out of date: additional groups may now inhabit the system and maintain their own culture, forms of government, and systems of law.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Treah has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- The world has a huge orbital port.
World Population (P)[edit]
Worldname has a population of 90,000 sophonts (tens of thousands).
- This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
- The population almost entirely consists of Aslan.
- A few humans and other sophonts may be encountered.
Urbanization[edit]
A few small urban areas each surrounded by satellite communities.
- Inhabited areas are dotted across the world.
- Much of the surface of the world remains as wilderness.
All buildings are constructed in the distinctive curved style of the Aslan.
- The oldest structures on the world are no more than 50 years old.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Treah possesses a Technology Level of TL–11 or TL-B in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-2.
World Government (G)[edit]
Treah is governed by multiple Aslan Clans. Similar to a Balkanized Government, there are several Clans competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.
- The human government code listed on star charts corresponds to Aslan Government Code H.
World Military[edit]
Approximately 1000 professional warriors, in service to various clan interests.
World Law (L)[edit]
Treah has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
