Tlotlivldie is a low-population world with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in size.
- This world has yet to take off economically or otherwise and the population remains low for reasons largely unknown.
- It is a member of the Zhodani Consulate and part of Colonnade Province in the Vanguard Subsector of Fulani Sector.
- This is a temperate world, with a climate of pleasant, average temperatures, considered to be an ideal or near-ideal environment by many different sophont species.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Tlotlivldie is a binary star system.
- The primary is an orange main sequence.
- The secondary is a tiny white dwarf stellar remnant.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x6 secondary rocky worlds.
- x1 planetoid belt.
- x2 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zone's prime H region.
- It receives moderate levels of stellar energy.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Tlotlivldie is a Meso World between 8,800km and 10,400km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.6G and 0.8G. The horizon will appear about 4.4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Tlotlivldie has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. While a Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Tlotlivldie has 45-55% of its surface covered by liquid water. Wilderness refueling is possible.
- The worlds seas experience powerful tides.
Satellites:[edit]
Tlotlivldie retains two small vacuum moons.
- The worlds orbit once every few weeks.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, predominantly dry world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Abundant native life occupying every available ecological niche. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
- The world is home to many species of megafauna, including swift pack-hunting carnivores.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Tlotlivldie is a backwater outpost with a weak economy and poor standards of living. Commerce is dependent on hunting and processing the worlds huge native creatures.
- It has been incorporated into the Zhodani Consulate as part of the Colonnade Administrative District.
- The resources of the system are being exploited.
A few private interests are active within the system.
- Commercial traffic is very infrequent: ships rarely visit.
- Commo occasionally picks up signals and private chatter. Communications are in Zdetl.
- The white dwarf star causes interference, strange tones and noises, and low level static on commo and sensors.
- One or two commercial navigation beacons may be active.
- Vessels rarely operate among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Tlotlivldie has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Tlotlivldie has a population of 1000.
Urbanization[edit]
A central urban area surrounded by smaller satellite communities.
- Outlying areas have a few isolated structures or compounds.
- Almost all of the surface of the world is wilderness.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Tlotlivldie possesses a Technology Level of TL–7.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Early video and early satellite communication networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fuel cells, solar energy, and geothermal power sources.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Improved automobiles, hovercraft, and bullet trains.
- Water: Hydrofoils and early triphibians.
- Air: Hang gliders and supersonic jets.
- Space: Deep space probes and interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
World Government (G)[edit]
Tlotlivldie is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.
World Military[edit]
Privately retained security personnel.
World Law (L)[edit]
Tlotlivldie has a low law level. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate. Body pistols, explosives, and poison gas are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 6 (few)
- Labor: 2 (hundreds)
- Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
- Efficiency: +2 (good)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -3 (very unimportant)
The world produces animal-derived products of all kinds, including meat, hides, leather, and woven fabrics.
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 1 (monolithic)
- Acceptance: 1 (extremely xenophobic)
- Strangeness: 4 (somewhat distinct)
- Symbols: 6 (somewhat concrete)
World Timeline[edit]

- 995-1065: the Second Survey charts the system.
- 1065: the Second Survey is published.
