Ronni is an agricultural, nonindustrial world still lacking adequate means to expand its economy.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
- It is a client state of the Third Imperium in the Anarsi Subsector of Vland Sector.
- This world contains an archaeological site with suspected high-tech remnants of the now-vanished Ancients precursor race.
- It is the homeworld of the Ronnin, a Minor Human Race.
- Ronni is located on the Vilani Main.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Ronni has a solitary primary star named Jeong.
- It is a yellow main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- Suder, a secondary rocky world. It is the closest world to the star and lies within the hot inner system.
- Ronni, the mainworld. It is the second world out from the star and orbits within the habitable zone.
- Northan, Leedom, and Mauri, three secondary rocky worlds, orbit within the cold outer system
- The Inner Merlis and The Outer Merlis, two broad planetoid belts, orbit within the outer system, beyond the rocky worlds.
- Gunard and Orrin, two small ice giants, lie deep in the frigid depths of the far outer system.

Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Ronni is a Meso World between 8,800km and 10,400km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.6G and 0.8G. The horizon will appear about 4.4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Ronni has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. While the thin atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Ronni has 45-55% of its surface covered by liquid water. Wilderness refueling is possible.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Ronni is the homeworld of the Ronnin, a Minor Human Race who have been present on the world for around a quarter of a million years.
The Ancients transplanted the Ronnin to Ronni, qualifying the world as an Ancients Site.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Ronni has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Population (P)[edit]
Ronni has a population of 500,000 sophonts (hundreds of thousands).
- This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
- 100% of the population consists of Ronnin, a Minor Human Race transplanted to the world by the Ancients.
Urbanization[edit]
Approximately 87% of Ronni's population lives in small rural communities spread across the worlds continents. Its chief cities are:
- Rannagh (population 10,000), the capital city of the world.
- Liza (population 9,800), mineral extraction and processing.
- Qalms (population 9,700), primarily a fishing center.
- Abagrr (population 9,400), the world's largest Vargr community.
- Ozbun (population 9,300), specializing in mineral extraction.
- Fusan (population 9,200), a major fishing center.
- Gadzun (population 9,100), a fishing and agricultural center and the site of the world's starport.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Ronni possesses a Technology Level of TL–9.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fusion power.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Ultra high-speed trains and early grav vehicles.
- Water: High efficiency sailcraft, multihulled seacraft, improved artificial gills.
- Air: Tiltrotorcraft, exotic VTOL's, PARWIG, and rocket-assisted suborbitals.
- Space: SSTO spacecraft, early military spacecraft (System Craft), and interstellar STL starships
- FTL: Prototype Jump Drive-1.
World Government (G)[edit]
Ronni has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.
World Law (L)[edit]
Ronni has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms except shotguns, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: 0 (unimportant)
Ronni's primary products are agricultural goods of all kinds including marine produce, parts and components, recordings and documents, durables, and ores and compounds.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: B (abundant)
- Labor: 4 (tens of thousands)
- Infrastructure: 4 (very limited)
- Efficiency: -1 (average)
World Culture[edit]
- Heterogenity: 4 (harmonious)
- Acceptance: 5 (very aloof)
- Strangeness: 4 (somewhat distinct)
- Symbols: 8 (somewhat abstract)
