Geyuzo is a low-population vacuum world, with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in population size, warranting hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Zachrisson Subsector of Fulani Sector.
- This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.
- Vacuum worlds have no climate, but experience extreme differences in temperature between direct starlight and shade.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Geyuzo is a binary star system.
- Both are red main sequence stars.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x6 secondary rocky worlds.
- x1 planetoid belt.
- x2 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Geyuzo is a Twilight Zone World.
- One side of the world permanently faces towards the star and one side permanently faces away.
- In the narrow region between permanent night and permanent day, the primary star eternally hangs on the horizon.
The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zones colder outer H- region.
- It receives lower levels of stellar energy.
- The world orbits inside the stars Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Geyuzo is a Small World between 900km and 2,400km in diameter. The world has very low gravity between 0.05G and 0.09G. The horizon will appear about 2km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Geyuzo has a pressure of less than 0.001 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Geyuzo has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, vacuum world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
No native life.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Geyuzo is a backwater outpost with almost no development.
- The resources of the system are largely untapped.
There is limited activity within the system.
- Commercial traffic is very infrequent: ships rarely visit.
- Commo picks up occasional signals and private chatter. Communications are in Riftian Anglic.
- A single commercial navigation beacon may be active.
- A vessel or two may be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Geyuzo has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.
World Population (P)[edit]
Geyuzo has a population of 30 sophonts (tens).
- This is a Low Population World and the population would be too low to sustain itself without significant outside assistance. This may represent a transient population such as the crew of a starship, the final survivors of a dying colony, an advance team setting up to receive colonists, or a small outpost where establishing a colony is not the primary objective.
Urbanization[edit]
A single central facility, lying close to the starport, with a few outlying structures and compounds.
- Structures and facilities are sealed against local environmental conditions.
- Almost all of the surface of the world is wilderness.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Geyuzo possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land & Water: Grav belts and maturing gravcraft.
- Air: Greatly improved hybrid grav-aircraft.
- Space: Improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-1.
World Government (G)[edit]
Geyuzo is governed by Self-Perpetuating Oligarchy. A single family or small group provides the leadership and important positions in the government. These positions are inherited by member of the group or their family members. The organization may be monarchy, with titles passed to family members. Or a plutocracy where inheritance of the family fortune includes government position. Or the organization may be more typical organization with positions of power inherited.
World Military[edit]
Personal bodyguards.
World Law (L)[edit]
Geyuzo has a low law level. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate. Portable energy weapons, body pistols, explosives, and poison gas are typically regulated or prohibited.
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -1 (unimportant)
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: B (descriptor)
- Labor: 0 (none available)
- Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
- Efficiency: +1 (average)
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 3 (monolithic)
- Acceptance: 1 (extremely xenophobic)
- Strangeness: 9 (extremely confusing)
- Symbols: C (very abstract)
