Fra'ozh is a low-population world with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in size.
- This world has yet to take off economically or otherwise and the population remains low for reasons largely unknown.
- It is a member of the Izrats Kriezhlas Unity in the Aquaria Subsector of Fulani Sector.
- This is a temperate world, with a climate of pleasant, average temperatures, considered to be an ideal or near-ideal environment by many different sophont species.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Fra'ozh is a binary star system.
- The primary is an orange main sequence.
- The secondary is a red main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x4 secondary rocky worlds.
- x5 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zone's prime H region.
- It receives moderate levels of stellar energy.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Fra'ozh is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Fra'ozh has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. While a Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- It experiences moderate temperatures.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Fra'ozh has 85-95% of its surface covered by liquid water with a few small continents, and a number of islands and archipelagos. Dry land is limited. Wilderness refueling is possible.
- The oceans are storm-wracked and turbulent.
Satellites[edit]
Fra'ozh retains two small close vacuum moons.
- They orbit once every few weeks.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, predominantly watery world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Primitive primarily aquatic native life. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Fra'ozh is a boomtown, with a wildly unstable economy and huge disparities in standards of living. Miners and prospectors make fortunes gathering the world's abundant natural resources.
- The resources of the system are being exploited.
A number of businesses, organizations, and private interests are active within the system.
- Commercial traffic is frequent: ships regularly arrive and depart.
- Commo regularly picks up signals and private chatter. Communications are in Zdetl.
- A number of commercial navigation beacons will be active.
- A number of vessels may be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Fra'ozh has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Fra'ozh has an official population of 4000 Vlazhdumecta humans.
- Large numbers of freelance miners are present on the world but are not counted as permanent residents.
- Their numbers are conservatively estimated to be in excess of 10,000.
Urbanization[edit]
A few small urban areas each surrounded by satellite communities.
- The population inhabit a single relatively small region.
- Much of the surface of the world remains as wilderness.
Freelance miners may be found across the world, inhabiting temporary shanties constructed around some particularly rich lode or vein.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Fra'ozh possesses a Technology Level of TL–9.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fusion power.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Ultra high-speed trains and early grav vehicles.
- Water: High efficiency sailcraft, multihulled seacraft, improved artificial gills.
- Air: Tiltrotorcraft, exotic VTOL's, PARWIG, and rocket-assisted suborbitals.
- Space: SSTO spacecraft, early military spacecraft (System Craft), and interstellar STL starships
- FTL: Prototype Jump Drive-1.
World Government (G)[edit]
Fra'ozh is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.
World Military[edit]
Privately retained security personnel.
World Law (L)[edit]
Fra'ozh has a low law level. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate. Portable energy weapons, body pistols, explosives, and poison gas are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: G (extremely abundant)
- Labor: 2 (hundreds)
- Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
- Efficiency: +1 (average)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -3 (very unimportant)
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 5 (harmonious)
- Acceptance: 3 (distinct)
- Strangeness: 5 (abstract)
- Symbols: 8 (somewhat distinct)
World Timeline[edit]

- 995-1065: the Second Survey charts the system.
- 1065: the Second Survey is published.
