Dranshiqlbi' is an agricultural, nonindustrial world still lacking adequate means to expand its economy.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
- It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the String of Pearls Subsector of Yiklerzdanzh Sector.
- This is a "low technology" world with technology competencies well below standard for Charted Space.
- Around 30% of the population consists of Droyne.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Dranshiqlbi' has a solitary primary star.
- It is a turbulent red giant.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been partially surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- An unknown number of secondary rocky worlds.
- x1 planetoid belt.
Mainworld Data[edit]
The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zone's warmer inner H+ region
- It receives higher levels of stellar energy.
- The world orbits deep inside the star's enormous Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Dranshiqlbi' is a Meso World between 5,600km and 7,200km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.32G and 0.46G. The horizon will appear about 3.6km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Dranshiqlbi' has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. A Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.
- It experiences high temperatures.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Dranshiqlbi' has 45-55% of its surface covered by liquid water. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Satellites[edit]
Dranshiqlbi' retains two small vacuum moons.
- They orbit once every few weeks.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly dry world.)
Most of the settlements are around a shallow ocean. Its name, translated into Galanglic as "Sea of Souls", comes from the many lives it has claimed in hurricane seasons.
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Abundant native life occupying every available ecological niche. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
Most animals are fairly small, relying on speed rather than strength.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The systems enormous red giant star causes interference, strange tones and noises, and heavy static on commo and sensors.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Dranshiqlbi' has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Population (P)[edit]
Dranshiqlbi' has a population of 60,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).
- About 70% of the population (approximately 42 million individuals) are human.
- Around 30% of the population (roughly 18 million individuals) are Droyne.
World Languages[edit]
- Human languages (including dialects borrowing from Zdetl and Vlazhdumecta).
- Oynprith
- Droyne Languages: Oynprith is a ceremonial and ritualistic language apparently universal among Droyne communities. Other languages are used in casual day-to-day affairs.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Dranshiqlbi' possesses a Technology Level of TL–5.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Telephone, radio, and television.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Electricity, hydrocarbon internal combustion, and the most fundamental atomic energy.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Ground cars or automobiles and tracked vehicles.
- Water: Large ships and submersibles with steel hulls.
- Air: Early aircraft including seaplanes and very early unmanned rockets.
World Government (G)[edit]
Dranshiqlbi' is governed by a Representative Democracy where government leadership is by representatives elected by eligible voters. What determines an eligible voter varies. The representatives determine policy, including selecting members of the bureaucracy. There can be referenda, votes by eligible voters on specific subjects.

These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. The larger settlements see some influence from criminal organizations based on Sitiefladr.
