Subsector D of Langere Sector, completely within Hive Federation territory.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Like so much of Langere Sector, the sparse astrography of this region leads to stark distinctions. The coreward half of the subsector is dominated by the eponymous Dax and, to a lesser extent, high-population Yanuh and rapidly growing Aazyee. These are thriving systems. The rimward half of the subsector, by contrast, is largely rift area, and the three systems located there, while sporting sophisticated Hive Federation starport infrastructure, have very few inhabitants. Va Lat is interdicted, presumably having something to do with its obscure native species.

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Dax, subsector D of Langere, contains 11 worlds with an estimated combined population of 80 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,712, and a total economy of BCr299,783. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr3,245 through 9 starports (4 Class A, 4 Class B, 0 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 442,210 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Dax maintain two Hiver Embassies, one Naval base, and one Military base. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 11). The highest technology level is 14 at Aazyee (Langere 2603).

Dax, subsector D of Langere, contains 13 stars and 112 identified planets; nine monostellar systems, two binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 10 of the 11 systems (90%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, one Poor (Po) world, four Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Dax has an estimated population of 80 billion within the subsector, distributed across one High population (Hi) world, one Moderate population (Ph) world, four Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, four Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Yanuh (Langere 2805). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups including one native sophont.

Hive Federation[edit]

The Hive Federation has jurisdiction over all of the worlds with an estimated combined population of 80 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,712, and a total economy of BCr299,783. The governments in the Hive Federation maintain two Hiver Embassies, one Naval base, and one Military base within the subsector. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 11). The highest technology level is 14 at Aazyee (Langere 2603).

The Hive Federation has an estimated population of 80 billion within the subsector, distributed across one High population (Hi) world, one Moderate population (Ph) world, four Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, four Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Yanuh (Langere 2805). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups including one native sophont.
