Abrzdiez is a poor, barren desert world with no overt population, government, or law level.

  • This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]

Abrzdiez is a binary star system.

  • Both are red main sequence stars.
    • They are close companions.

System Data[edit]

The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:

Mainworld Data[edit]

Abrzdiez is a Twilight Zone World.

  • In the narrow region between permanent night and permanent day, the binary stars eternally hang on the horizon.
  • The two stars orbit around one another every few hours, swapping positions on the horizon.

The mainworld orbits within the two star's combined Habitable Zone.

  • It lies within the zones warmer inner H+ region
  • It receives higher levels of stellar energy.

Mainworld Size (S)[edit]

Abrzdiez is a Meso World between 5,600km and 7,200km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.32G and 0.46G. The horizon will appear about 3.6km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]

Abrzdiez has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Respirator Combination Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

The world has an abiotic oxygen atmosphere.

  • Oxygen is produced by photocatalytic conversion of surface materials by stellar energy.
  • Fresh surface material is constantly exposed through processes such as seismic activity, volcanism, or erosion.
  • The oxygen rapidly depletes from the atmosphere through oxidization with surface materials: a rough equilibrium between production and depletion exists.
  • The percentage of oxygen in the atmosphere varies according to the density of global cloud cover.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]

Abrzdiez has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.

  • The world has an arid, hostile surface environment.

Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]

No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.

  • Locally, detailed maps may be available.
  • Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
  • Detailed survey data commands premium prices.

Native Lifeforms[edit]

No native life: the world has an abiotic oxygen atmosphere.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Comp-Prog-Dav-R-Deitrick-Starter-Trav-Page-16 16-July-2018a.jpg

Abrzdiez is a frontier, a wild and lonely place that rarely sees visitors. Many of the planets and moons within it have ever have had an intelligent being visit them.

  • Information about the system is limited.
  • The resources of the system are largely untapped.

The system is unpopulated.

  • Commercial traffic is extremely rare: the system sees very few visiting ships.
  • Commo only picks up natural background noise and static.
  • There are no active navigation beacons.

Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date: previously undocumented groups may now inhabit the system and maintain their own culture, forms of government, and systems of law.

  • Verified updated data is constantly sought.

World Starport (St)[edit]

Abrzdiez does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.

World Demographics (P)[edit]

Abrzdiez is unpopulated.

Urbanization[edit]

None.

World Technology Level (T)[edit]

Abrzdiez possesses a Tech Level of TL–0.

  • The world has no technological base.

World Government (G)[edit]

Abrzdiez has no government or ruling authority of any kind.

World Military[edit]

None.

World Law (L)[edit]
