Description (Specifications)[edit]

Abishiaz is a backwater subsector, largely through choice. Nobles here are content to let things be rather than develop dramatic plans for improvement.

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Abishiaz, subsector B of Ziafrplians, contains 30 worlds with an estimated combined population of 120 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,806, and a total economy of BCr456,805. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr284 through 23 starports (5 Class A, 7 Class B, 7 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 41,745 people. Driving this interstellar trade are seven Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Abishiaz maintain seven Naval bases and seven Military bases. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 4 and 11). The highest technology level is 13 at Miflyats (Ziafrplians 1501) and Shtia'ial (Ziafrplians 1504).

Abishiaz, subsector B of Ziafrplians, contains 40 stars and 312 identified planets; 20 monostellar systems, ten binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 28 of the 30 systems (93%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, two Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, four Poor (Po) worlds, four Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Abishiaz has an estimated population of 120 billion distributed across four High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, 17 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, no Low population (Lo) worlds, and three Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Chabob (Ziafrplians 0905) and Abajiachiats (Ziafrplians 1505). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups.
