The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (...of eight G-Carriers subcraft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (...thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]

The Marines are usually armed with lasers and FGMP-14s, allowing them to recharge their gear from their G-Carrier's powerplant. Some troop carrying G-carriers are replaced with specialist versions; Command (replaces troops with enhanced comms and ECM) Artillery (G-Carrier armed with MRLs and Drone launchers) Fire Control (used to scout and co-ordinate artillery) Point Defence (uses advanced sensors and VRF Gauss Guns to destroy incoming artillery munitions) Medical (Mobile surgery and Low Berths for wounded personel) Damper Vehicles (mobile nuclear damper to protect the force from nuclear weapons and decontaminate radiated areas and equipment) Some ships replace the G-Carriers with 20 ton Grav Tanks( usually Tripidas), with the remaining grav belt equipped Marines deploying out of the four airlocks. Some ships replace the G-Carriers with drop pod launchers, allowing the entire force of 160 Marine Commandos to be deployed quickly and stealthily for Covert Missions. |
