Basic Ship Characteristics
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) when necessary. [1]

History & Background (Dossier)
The Duchy of Inar based out of Inar (world) has a vibrant TL-14 or TL-E ship building industry, known for innovative designs and clever Naval Architecture. They are best known for their unstreamlined cylinder hull tail-sitter ship designs and sphere hulled smallcraft specialized for star system defense. They also build some of the finest fusion guns and ECM systems in Imperial Space.
It is one of the well known 60-ton sphere designs of Inar (Deneb 1213).
Due to its range, the Wart is tied to its carrier (...usually the Bullfrog class Fighter Tender or a ground base), and is not suited to the 'hide-and-seek' games of system defense if forced to operate alone. The Wart is the basic heavy fighter of the Inar SysDefCom and has several variants, including non-combat models (the Tadpole class Fuel Shuttle for instance), and the fusion-armed Wart-F.
The cost below is according to standard rules, but Inar has been building spherical small craft for so long that the actual price per hull is about 63% of normal. Due to the high cost of the ship computer and power plant in the Wart, the MCr5 savings is not significant in this design.
