Shifrledl is a low-population world with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in size.

• This world has yet to take off economically or otherwise and the population remains low for reasons largely unknown.
• It is a client state of the Zhodani Consulate in the Vanguard Subsector of Fulani Sector.

• This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.
• This is a "low technology" world with technology competencies well below standard for Charted Space.

• The primary is an orange main sequence.

• It lies within the zones colder outer H- region.
• It receives lower levels of stellar energy.

• The world orbits inside the stars Jump Shadow.

Mainworld Size (S)

Shifrledl is a Meso World between 10,400km and 12,000km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.7G and 0.9G. The horizon will appear about 4.7km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Shifrledl has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Shifrledl has 55-65% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.

• The world experiences low temperatures.
• Much of the surface is covered in glaciers, ice, frost, and snow.

Shifrledl is a backwater outpost with almost no development.

• It is sponsored and supported by the Zhodani Consulate as part of a gradual expansion into the region.
• The resources of the system are being explored.

There is limited activity within the system.

• Commercial traffic is infrequent: ships rarely visit.
• Commo picks up occasional signals and private chatter. Communications are in Zdetl.
• One or two commercial navigation beacons may be active.
• Vessels rarely operate among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.

Shifrledl has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

• There are dozens of temporary workers, permitted to stay for a set period, resident on the world.

A single central facility, lying close to the starport, with a few outlying structures and compounds.
