Ayeweaar has 35-45% of its surface covered by liquid water. There will be a number of small seas or one larger body of water. Wilderness refueling is possible.

Ayeweaar is relatively busy. The infrastructure is being upgraded and living conditions are improving.

• The world has been settled by Ihatei Aslan, moving to spinward along the edge of the Great Rift in search of new territories.
• The resources of the system are gradually being exploited.

A number of organizations and private interests are active within the system.

• Commercial traffic is relatively frequent: ships occasionally arrive and depart.
• Commo is filled with signals and private chatter. Communications are in Trokh.
• A number of commercial navigation beacons will be active.
• A few vessels may be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.

Aslan settlement began during the 1060s.

• It is a member of the Aslan Hierate Kyatulyare Vassal.
• The world falls under the broad purview of the Seieakh and Aokhalte clans.
• Prior to settlement, Ayeweaar was a barren world.
• Construction is ongoing in many areas.

The human population of the world arrived with the Aslan.

• Most are integrated members of society.
• Many are not there by choice.

World Starport (St)

Ayeweaar has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

Ayeweaar has a population of 50,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).

• Around 60 percent of the population (around 30 million individuals) consists of Aslan.
• About 40 percent of the population (around 20 million individuals) is made up of humans and other sophonts.

Urbanization

Multiple large urban centers, each surrounded by smaller satellite communities.

• Inhabited areas are dotted around the twilight zone.
• The hot face and the cold face of the world remain as wilderness.

For the majority of the population, conditions are primitive and life is tough.

• Employment is primarily within agriculture. The work is hard and the wages are low.
• A privileged few enjoy a life of comfort and extreme luxury.
• There is considerable social unrest.

Most buildings are constructed in the distinctive curved style of the Aslan.

• The oldest structures on the world are no more than 50 years old.

Ayeweaar is governed by a single Aslan Clan as part of a multi-world polity or pocket empire. Members of ruling clan are present to effect government leadership.

• The clan leadership is directly, though covertly, controlled by local clan military forces.
• The human government code listed on star charts corresponds to Aslan Government Code K.

World Military

Approximately 300,000 Civil Protection Forces, made up of professional Aslan warriors answerable to the military governor.

• These are supported by around 50,000 human personnel.
• The military forces are often engaged against insurgents from the Regency of Muirimi.

World Law (L)

Ayeweaar has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (outside private residences or visiting starships).
