Citrepil is a low-population vacuum world, with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in population size, warranting hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Idella Subsector of Fulani Sector.
- This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Citrepil is a binary star system.
- Both are red main sequence stars.
- They are close companions.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x2 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Citrepil is a Twilight Zone World.
- One side of the world permanently faces towards the stars and one side permanently faces away.
- In the narrow region between permanent night and permanent day, the primary stars eternally hang on the horizon.
The mainworld orbits within the two star's combined Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zones colder outer H- region.
- It receives lower levels of stellar energy.
- The world orbits inside the stars Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Citrepil is a Small World between 900km and 2,400km in diameter. The world has very low gravity between 0.05G and 0.09G. The horizon will appear about 2km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Citrepil has a pressure of less than 0.001 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Citrepil has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, vacuum world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
No native life.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Citrepil is a backwater outpost with almost no development. Some of the planets and moons within it have never had an intelligent being visit them.
- The limited resources of the system are being exploited.
There is little activity within the system.
- Commercial traffic is very infrequent: ships rarely visit.
- Commo picks up occasional signals and private chatter. Communications are in Riftian Anglic.
- One or two commercial navigation beacons may be active.
- Vessels are unlikely be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date: additional groups may now inhabit the system and maintain their own culture, forms of government, and systems of law.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Citrepil has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Population (P)[edit]
Citrepil has population of 300 sophonts (hundreds).
- This is a Low Population World and the population would be too low to sustain itself without moderate outside assistance. This may represent a large transient population such as the crew of a fleet of starships, the dwindling remnants of a dying colony, a construction team building a new colony, or an outpost that could evolve into a colony.
Urbanization[edit]
A single central facility with a few outlying structures and compounds.
- Structures and facilities are sealed against local environmental conditions.
- Almost all of the surface of the world is wilderness.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Citrepil possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land & Water: Grav belts and maturing gravcraft.
- Air: Greatly improved hybrid grav-aircraft.
- Space: Improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-1.
World Government (G)[edit]
Citrepil is governed by Self-Perpetuating Oligarchy. A single family or small group provides the leadership and important positions in the government. These positions are inherited by member of the group or their family members. The organization may be monarchy, with titles passed to family members. Or a plutocracy where inheritance of the family fortune includes government position. Or the organization may be more typical organization with positions of power inherited.
World Military[edit]
Personal bodyguards.
World Law (L)[edit]
Citrepil has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Light assault weapons, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
