It is a vessel with 4-G and J-2 performance with a partially streamlined close structure hull. They carried a Jump-1 fuel reserve to give the vessel extended range. A smaller fleet escort which were used by the Terran Confederation Navy for convoy duty and fleet maneuver.

It carries light armament and a defensive suite. Lightly armored they lacked any lasers.
It ordinarily carries a 20 ton launch subcraft, a 4 ton Air/Raft ship's vehicles, and drones only when needed.
It has a 52 sophont crew and 0 marines. They had 28.5 double occupancy staterooms for 52 crew which include: 11 command, 14 engineering, 12 gunnery, 3 flight, 8 service and a 4 man security detachment.
