Gulf Sector can be found lying to rimward of Far Home Sector. It is located within the Great Void and is almost entirely rift density. It contains a total of sixteen systems. Only one subsector (subsector A) is accessible to conventional jump-2 vessels travelling from the Distant Fringe. Many of the systems located along this spur have worlds with exotic atmospheres. The population is approximately 209,000 sophonts.
