Zhdierqr is a poor, low-population world with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts.
- This poor world is struggling to establish itself and living conditions in many areas are rudimentary.
- It is a client state of the Zhodani Consulate in the Zhdierqr Subsector of Fulani Sector.
- This is a cold world with an overall climate that is at the lower temperature range of human-congruous sophont endurance.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Zhdierqr is a binary star system.
- Both are red main sequence stars.
- They are close companions.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x8 secondary rocky worlds.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Zhdierqr is a Twilight Zone World.
- One side of the world permanently faces towards the stars and one side permanently faces away.
- In the narrow region between permanent night and permanent day, the primary stars eternally hang on the horizon.
The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zone's warmer inner H+ region
- It receives higher levels of stellar energy.
- The world orbits inside the star's Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Zhdierqr is a Meso World between 5,600km and 7,200km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.32G and 0.46G. The horizon will appear about 3.6km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Zhdierqr has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Zhdierqr has 05-15% of its surface covered by liquid water or ice. Wilderness refueling will be difficult. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are Hell Worlds or Poor Worlds depending on their atmosphere.
- The world experiences high temperatures.
- Much of the surface is an arid, hostile environment.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, predominantly dry world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Primitive native life occupying a number of ecological niches. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Zhdierqr is a small isolationist settlement with almost no development.
- It is sponsored and supported by the Zhodani Consulate as part of a gradual expansion into the region.
- The resources of the system are gradually being exploited.
A few private interests are active within the system.
- Commercial traffic is very infrequent: ships rarely visit.
- Commo picks up occasional signals and private chatter. Communications are in Zdetl.
- One or two commercial navigation beacons may be active.
- Vessels rarely operate among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Zhdierqr has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Zhdierqr has a population of 1000.
Urbanization[edit]
A few small outposts, each with a few outlying structures and compounds.
- All lie within a single region of the surface.
- Almost all of the surface of the world is wilderness.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Zhdierqr possesses a Technology Level of TL–11 or TL-B in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-2.
World Government (G)[edit]
Zhdierqr has no central government or substantial government apparatus; an Anarchy. The largest governmental structure would be a family, tribe, or single clan. The largest group will be between 50 and 100 individuals, and there may be dozens to hundreds of them. This governmental structure can be stable over long periods of time if the population remains small or geographically separated.
World Military[edit]
Privately retained security personnel.
World Law (L)[edit]
Zhdierqr has a low law level. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate. Portable energy weapons, body pistols, explosives, and poison gas are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 8 (moderate)
- Labor: 2 (hundreds)
- Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
- Efficiency: -2 (fair)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -1 (unimportant)
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 1 (monolithic)
- Acceptance: 2 (very xenophobic)
- Strangeness: 3 (somewhat typical)
- Symbols: 8 (somewhat abstract)
World Timeline[edit]

- 995-1065: the Second Survey charts the system.
- 1065: the Second Survey is published.
