Yoflcherch is a low-population world with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in size.
- This world has yet to take off economically or otherwise and the population remains low for reasons largely unknown.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Aquaria Subsector of Fulani Sector.
- This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Yoflcherch has a solitary primary star.
- It is a red main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x3 secondary rocky worlds.
- x1 planetoid belt.
- x1 gas giant.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Yoflcherch is a Twilight Zone World.
- In the narrow region between permanent night and permanent day, the primary star eternally hangs on the horizon.
The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zone's prime H region.
- It receives moderate levels of stellar energy.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Yoflcherch is a Big World between 15,200km and 16,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 1.1G and 1.5G. The horizon will appear about 5.7km away. Vessels with only 1G of thrust should avoid landing on this world.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Yoflcherch has a pressure of 2.5 or greater atmospheres. A Dense & High Pressure Atmosphere typically requires no survival gear under many conditions. Pressure at or below sea level is too great to support life but the atmosphere may be breathable at higher altitudes. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Yoflcherch has 25-35% of its surface covered by liquid water or ice heavily tainted with other substances, which makes it dangerous, corrosive, or toxic. Wilderness refueling will be difficult. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds may be Hell Worlds.
- The water on the surface is unsuitable for use or consumption without extensive filtering and purification.
- Refining for fuel may cause issues with shipboard purification plants.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Exotic native life occupying a few specialist ecological niches. Its metabolic functions help drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Yoflcherch is a quiet backwater with a weak economy and poor standards of living.
- The resources of the system are being exploited.
A few organizations and private interests are active within the system.
- Commercial traffic is sporadic: ships occasionally visit.
- Commo is filled with signals and private chatter. Communications are in Zdetl.
- A number of commercial navigation beacons will be active.
- A vessel or two may be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Yoflcherch has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Yoflcherch has a population of 8000 Vlazhdumecta humans.
Urbanization[edit]
A central urban area surrounded by smaller satellite communities.
- Outlying areas have a few isolated structures or compounds.
- Structures and facilities are sealed against local environmental conditions.
- Almost all of the surface of the world is wilderness.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Yoflcherch possesses a Technology Level of TL–8.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics, improved telephones, and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Improved geothermal and improved batteries.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Advanced automobiles.
- Water: Triphibians and early artificial gills.
- Air: Improved helicopters and hypersonic jets.
- Space: Space shuttles, early space stations, and improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
World Government (G)[edit]
Yoflcherch has no central government or substantial government apparatus; an Anarchy. The largest governmental structure would be a family, tribe, or single clan. The largest group will be between 50 and 100 individuals, and there may be dozens to hundreds of them. This governmental structure can be stable over long periods of time if the population remains small or geographically separated.
World Military[edit]
Citizen militia, who turn out for duty as required.
World Law (L)[edit]
Yoflcherch has no law in practice. It is an Anarchy. On many worlds, this by itself justifies an Amber Zone advisory. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 9 (moderate)
- Labor: 2 (hundreds)
- Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
- Efficiency: -4 (very poor)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -3 (very unimportant)
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 3 (moderate)
- Acceptance: 1 (extremely xenophobic)
- Strangeness: 8 (very confusing)
- Symbols: 9 (somewhat abstract)
World Timeline[edit]
- 300-420: the First Survey charts the system.
- 995-1065: the Second Survey charts the system.
- 1065: the Second Survey is published.
