History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Pretoria, the subsector capital, operates two jump bridges that connect it to nearby mains; as such, in practice the Marzian Loop has jump-1 access to the L'sis Main.
The Loop has jump-2 access to the Towers Cluster to spinward.
Human, Vargr, and Gl'lu traders travel the Loop, transporting goods between its worlds.
Lurent planetoid ships are often found here, trading or in transit.
Commercial Data[edit]
Marz itself is the gateway for traffic between Pretoria Subsector and the Aramis Trace. It is also a major trade centre for worlds in the Anfharsgzo Subsector of the Vargr Extents. Multi-kiloton freighters call on Farport Marz from both sides of the border.
Goods[edit]
Notable local commodities include:
- Iron and copper ore from Ash.
- Iridium mined on El D'Nah.
- Various fungi from Enaaka, valued for their pharmacological or gourmet commercial worth.
- Chagas Gems: The Loop offers jump-2 access to Imperial space from Ghatsokie, the only source of these gems.
