Sydymic Outworlds

A star cluster within Ley Sector, at the very edge of Third Imperium territory. The cluster is a point of exchange between Imperial corporations and their counterparts in the Khuur League, home of the Sydites, who once controlled the defunct Sydymic Empire. The cluster is also important as a link on the Jump-4 route into Gateway Sector, and sees official Imperial vessels passing through its ports -- and some long-range ships from Gateway going the other way (mainly from the Galian Federation).

Two worlds of the cluster are full Imperial members, one a client state. The rest vary in their attitude towards the Imperium and the League.

Commercial Data

The following economic and commercial data has been determined:

Imperial long-range vessels headed into Gateway Sector use facilities in the Outworlds before making the long, high-jump trip to Galian Federation space. Trade ships from the Khuur League are also a common sight.

Corporations

The following corporations operate in this cluster:

• Dinabarib: A Sydite vehicle manufacturer.
• Hagajaya Sarana, LIC: A local subsidiary of Ling-Standard Products.
• Raakugaageniram Adiikhak: A large vehicle designer and manufacturer, primarily supplying to worlds in the Gateway Sector. In the 990s, they began an aggressive marketing campaign to worlds in the Outworld Subsector and Sydymic Subsector of Ley.

Notable commodities in this cluster include the following:

• Ore and industrial goods from Shurril Gami.
  • These are usually sold through the trade port at Igmigi.
