Mainworld Data

Fomafal is a Twilight Zone World.

• One side of the world permanently faces towards the stars and one side permanently faces away.
• In the narrow region between permanent night and permanent day, the primary stars eternally hang on the horizon.

The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.

• It lies within the zone's colder outer H- region.
• It receives lower levels of stellar energy.

• The world orbits inside the stars' Jump Shadow.

Mainworld Size (S)

Fomafal is a Small World between 900km and 2,400km in diameter. The world has very low gravity between 0.05G and 0.09G. The horizon will appear about 2km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Fomafal has a pressure of less than 0.001 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Fomafal has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.

Satellites

Fomafal retains two tiny planetoid moons.

• They orbit once every few days.

Fomafal is a frontier, a wild and lonely place that rarely sees visitors. Many of the planets and moons within it have never had an intelligent being visit them.
