Edienta has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. While a Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

World Starport[edit]
Edienta has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Law Level[edit]
Edienta is a relatively permissive world with an ISS rating of 2. This is considered a low level of legal enforcement.
- High technology military weapons such as energy weapons and lasers are prohibited, as are military purpose explosive devices such as grenades, grenade launchers, and other similar weapons.
- There are no restrictions on open carry, but a person might be questioned by authorities for carrying many weapons or wearing military body armor.
- As with all Yeskoth worlds, K'Kree are not permitted and will be denied visas and other legal documents for entry.

- Ground forces:
- A 500 man defense battalion equipped at TL 13/14 with combat armor, plasma weapons, and laser rifles. They are trained in zero-G combat and fighting in a vacuum / space environment.
- Two planetary defense batteries with 2 meson rail guns each.
- Naval / Space:
- A 10,000 ton system defense ship
- A squadron of four 1,000 ton system defense ships.
- Two 12 ship "attack" squadrons with 50 ton spacecraft
- Total active military personnel equals approximately 1500.
- Paramilitary
- A small public security force and starport authority security force exists.
- Much of the populace is armed and weapons of various sorts are widely available. A militia of up to approximately 1,000 is available.
- Extra-Military units.
- It is common for one or more squadrons of the Yeskoth Corporate Navy to be in this system.
- Some or all of the Yeskoth Corporate expeditionary corps, their ground forces for use outside the corporate are frequently stationed here.
