Ayayuou is a low-population vacuum world, with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in population size, warranting hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- It is a member of the Aslan Hierate Kyatulyare Vassal in the Keflin Subsector of Iphigenaia Sector.
- It is a main world which is a satellite of either a gas giant or another world.
- Vacuum worlds have no climate, but experience extreme differences in temperature between direct starlight and shade.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Ayayuou is a binary star system.
- The primary is a yellow main sequence.
- The secondary is a red main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x4 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 planetoid belts.
- x4 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Ayayou is a satellite of a gas giant.
The mainworld and its gas giant primary orbit within the outer system.
- They receive very low levels of stellar energy.
- They orbit inside the stars Jump Shadow.
- They orbit beyond the stars Jump Shadow.
- An exotic atmosphere superterran secondary world orbits within the stars habitable zone.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Ayayuou is a Small World between 4,000km and 5,600km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.24G and 0.34G. The horizon will appear about 3km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Ayayuou has a pressure of less than 0.001 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Ayayuou has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, vacuum world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
No native life.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Ayayuou is a backwater outpost undergoing development and improvement.
- The world has been settled by Ihatei Aslan, moving to spinward along the edge of the Great Rift in search of new territories.
- The resources of the system are being explored.
The system is relatively quiet. There is only limited activity.
- Commercial traffic is infrequent: ships only occasionally visit the system, usually on their way to somewhere else.
- Commo picks up occasional signals and private chatter. Communications are in Trokh.
- One or two commercial navigation beacons may be active.
- A vessel or two may be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.
Aslan settlement began during the 1060s.
- The world falls under the broad purview of the Seieakh and Aokhalte clans.
- Prior to settlement, Ayauuou was a barren world.
- Construction is ongoing in many areas.
Note that social data, though frequently updated, may be out of date: additional groups may now inhabit the system and maintain their own culture, forms of government, and systems of law.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Ayayuou has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Population (P)[edit]
Ayayuou has a population of 20 sophonts (tens).
- This is a Low Population World and the population would be too low to sustain itself without significant outside assistance. This may represent a transient population such as the crew of a starship, the final survivors of a dying colony, an advance team setting up to receive colonists, or a small outpost where establishing a colony is not the primary objective.
Urbanization[edit]
A single central facility with a few outlying structures.
- Structures and facilities are sealed against local environmental conditions.
- Almost all of the surface of the world is wilderness.
All buildings are constructed in the distinctive curved style of the Aslan.
- The oldest structures on the world are no more than 50 years old.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Ayayuou possesses a Technology Level of TL–7.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Early video and early satellite communication networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fuel cells, solar energy, and geothermal power sources.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Improved automobiles, hovercraft, and bullet trains.
- Water: Hydrofoils and early triphibians.
- Air: Hang gliders and supersonic jets.
- Space: Deep space probes and interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
World Government (G)[edit]
Ayayuou has no formal governmental structure. Honor, deference, and respect prevail in situations that might otherwise be an anarchy. Off-world clan interests may play an active role in the worlds affairs.
- The human government code listed on star charts corresponds to Aslan government code 0.
World Military[edit]
Privately retained security personnel.
World Law (L)[edit]
Ayayuou has no law in practice. It is an Anarchy. On many worlds, this by itself justifies an Amber Zone advisory. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate.
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -3 (very unimportant)
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 5 (scarce)
- Labor: 0 (none)
- Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
- Efficiency: -4 (very poor)
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 1 (monolithic)
- Acceptance: 1 (extremely xenophobic)
- Strangeness: 3 (somewhat typical)
- Symbols: 2 (very concrete)
World Timeline[edit]
- 300-420: the First Survey charts the system.
- 995-1065: the Second Survey charts the system.
- 1060s: Aslan begin migrating across the Great Rift.
- after 1060: Aslan settle the system.
- 1065: the Second Survey is published.
