This is the headquarters of the scout service. Each member state of the confederacy is responsible for the appropriation of a single Scout Cruiser. As senior scouts retire they are occasionally granted the use of older surplus vessels to make way for newer vessels. Confederate Scout Service consists of (4) Scout Explorers 100 dtons each, 32 crew, and their single 1,000ton tender=space station, A commonly known SECRET, is that several ex-scouts have taken their ships upon retirement, detached duty and become pirates.
