History & Background (Dossier)

Darsei is one of the few TL 15 worlds in Solomani Space and prides itself on that fact. Much of the system, including the mainworld government, conducts daily business through a computer network which is accessed with cybernetic implants that an individual may have. Business meetings, government sessions, and even family reunions can be held without leaving one's home.

World Starport

Darsei has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

Darsei possesses a Technology Level of TL–15 or TL-F in Hexadecimal Notation.

Darsei is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.

Darsei has rejected requests by the Solomani Confederation and SolSec to establish a naval installation there. While the Federation takes this in stride, SolSec finds the situation unacceptable and is taking steps to "change" the minds of the world leaders.
