Athin Subsector is a near empty rift zone part of the Vargr Extents.
Description (Specifications)
- Capital: 0122 Ounnon B87A976-9 (by distance default)
- Naval Bases: 2 NaVa
- Corsair Bases: 1
Four worlds comprise this sparse and scattered subsector of the Windhorn Rift. Calibration points, ice comets, and other sources of fuel must be placed at regular intervals for the healthiest and furthest-reaching starships to attain breakout at Ounnon, Gheae, Koenaers, and Voukhsedz. There is little trade due to fuel requirements to arrive at these worlds. The two Naval Bases in Athin Subsector are sleepy installations, aging and seeing almost no use. The Jump-3 Corsairs out of Gheae choose rather to calibrate their way to attack convoys on the Cyan trade route along the shores of the Windhorn Rift.
In 1105, there is some unrest spurred by sheer boredom of the younger generations of Urzaeng to either unite Balkanized Ounnon or seize whatever starships are parked at the Downport and leave the Industrial world forever. This is combatted by odd Law Level in place by the world's Factions, making a conventional siege of the B-rated Starport unlikely and potentially damaging to the very ships desired.
Subsector Summary: 1105
Athin, subsector I of Gzaekfueg, contains four worlds with an estimated combined population of 6 billion, a per capita income of Cr4,069, and a total economy of BCr24,643. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr0 through 4 starports (0 Class A, 2 Class B, 2 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 0 people. Driving this interstellar trade are one Agricultural (Ag) world, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Athin maintain two Naval bases and one Corsair base. The average technology level is 6 (with most between 5 and 8). The highest technology level is 9 at Ounnon (Gzaekfueg 0122).
Athin, subsector I of Gzaekfueg contains seven stars and an as yet unidentified number of planets; one monostellar system, three binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 2 of the four systems (50%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, no Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Athin has an estimated population of 6 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, two Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, one Low population (Lo) world, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Ounnon (Gzaekfueg 0122). The population consists of 1 sophont group.
