Arvenor is a barren water world with no overt population, government, or law level.

  • Its surface is 90% or more covered in an ocean of water.
  • Any inhabitants of this world would need to live on the roughly 10% of exposed land mass, in underwater colonies, on city ships, or similar arrangements.
  • This world could be populated if anyone had an inclination to do so...
  • It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Encha Subsector of Fulani Sector.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]

Stellar Data[edit]

Arvenor has a solitary primary star.

  • It is an orange main sequence.
Arvenor has a solitary primary star.

System Data[edit]

The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:

Mainworld Data[edit]

Arvenor is a satellite of a gas giant.

Gas Giant Moons 03e.jpg

The mainworld and its gas giant primary orbit within the star's Habitable Zone.

  • They lie within the zone's colder outer H- region.
  • They receive lower levels of stellar energy.

Mainworld Size (S)[edit]

Arvenor is a Meso World between 8,800km and 10,400km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.6G and 0.8G. The horizon will appear about 4.4km away.

  • Tidal stresses generated by the worlds gas giant primary world cause frequent seismic and geological activity.

Volcanic World 04.jpg

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]

Arvenor has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. A Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]

Arvenor has 95-100% of its surface covered by liquid water with only a few islands and archipelagos. Wilderness refueling is possible. Such worlds are Water Worlds or Ocean Worlds.

  • The world experiences low temperatures.
  • Much of the ocean surface is covered by icebergs, pack ice, and ice sheets.

Ice-capped World 05.jpg

Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]

No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.

  • Locally, detailed maps may be available.
  • Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
  • Detailed survey data commands premium prices.

Native Lifeforms[edit]

Abundant aquatic native life occupying every available ecological niche. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Comp-Prog-Dav-R-Deitrick-Starter-Trav-Page-16 16-July-2018a.jpg

Arvenor is a frontier, a wild and lonely place that rarely sees visitors. Many of the planets and moons within it have ever have had an intelligent being visit them.

  • Information about the system is limited.
  • The resources of the system are largely untapped.

The system is unpopulated.

  • Commercial traffic is extremely rare: the system sees very few visiting ships.
  • Commo only picks up natural background noise and static.
  • There are no active navigation beacons.

Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date: previously undocumented groups may now inhabit the system and maintain their own culture, forms of government, and systems of law.

  • Verified updated data is constantly sought.

World Starport (St)[edit]

Arvenor does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.

World Population (P)[edit]

Arvenor is a Barren World with no sophont population. It may still possess lifeforms.

World Technology Level (T)[edit]

Arvenor possesses a Tech Level of TL–0.

  • The world has no technological base.

World Government (G)[edit]

Arvenor has no government or ruling authority of any kind.

World Law (L)[edit]

Arvenor has no law level. No laws of any kind are enforced.

Trade Data[edit]

  • Importance: -3 (very unimportant)

World Economy[edit]

  • Resources: A (abundant)
  • Labor: 0 (unpopulated)
  • Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
  • Efficiency: -5 (extremely poor)
