Entwined culturally, and to some degree biologically, the Human-derived Lamura Teg and their small, spidery-legged, alien counterparts, the Lamura Gav (collectively, just the "Lamura"), have built a technologically advanced culture from the ruins of a hostile world which was originally home to neither race. This nation, the Cytrialin Unity, now controls dozens of systems.

The homeworld of the Lamura (the planet to which the Teg arrived and apparently the original home of the Gav) is Cikuek.
The homeworld of their shared modern culture is Cytrial, where their symbiosis was born.
The political capital of their nation is Alike.
