Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]

Gagash has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. While a Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Gagash is one of the eight systems significant to the Books of Cytrialin. As one of the Eight Pillars, Gagash is associated with the Book of the Mind.

World Starport (Sp)[edit]

Gagash has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.

World Population (P)[edit]

200. As one of the Eight Pillars of Cytrial, the world is kept undeveloped; it is essentially a monastery/spiritual retreat.

World Demographics[edit]

100% of the population are Lamura, consisting of the human Lamura Teg and the non-human Lamura Gav.

World Languages[edit]

The Cytrialin language is a derived form of an old Vilani dialect.

World Government (G)[edit]

World Culture[edit]

The guiding philosophy of the Lamura people is a lengthy work called the Cytrialin. The Cytrialin is both a rough and biased history of the Lamura peoples as well as a complex system of ethics and morality, alongside a compilation of practical advice for life. Because so many of the Lamura are noted for reading or quoting the Cytrialin when in distress or seeking answers to a difficult problem, they have gained a reputation for being fanatics and impractical mystics, though the text is noted for genuinely effective systems for practical problem solving.
