The 173rd Fleet is the Numbered Imperial fleet serving the Third Imperium stationed in the Drexilthar Subsector of the Reaver's Deep Sector.
Not to be confused with the Regency's 173rd (Communications) Fleet

173rd Fleet Fleet Composition: There are four Naval Bases in the subsector under direct imperial control or on an imperial client state, five Scout Bases, and no Way stations. Two scout bases are within imperial territory and three reside on client state worlds, beyond the border. In Drexilthar there are two race homeworlds. This fleet consisted of five ScoutRons and one regular line BatRon, a CruRon, an AssaultRon and a TankRon. Because of the dangerous nature of this border deployment the scout squadrons have a pair of heavy cruisers assigned to each one.
