The Hkiyrerao class Researcher is an Aslan scientific study Researcher Vessel. It is also known as the Hkiyrerao class Laboratory Ship and the Hkiyrerao class Surveyor.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Using a custom 400-ton hull, the Hkiyrerao-class ship is utilized for the investigation of scientific phenomena or for conducting tests at newly discovered worlds.

Basic Ship Characteristics[edit]

Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (...of ten subcraft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (...thousands of tons) where necessary. 2. Crew The ship requires a crew of four: captain/pilot, navigator, and two engineers. When on missions, an executive officer/head scientist is also required. A staff of up to 10 scientists can also be carried.
3. Performance Fuel tankage of 150 tons supports the power plant and allows one Jump-3, and the cargo bay can be converted to additional fuel storage for full jump capability.
4. Electronics Adjacent to the bridge is a Model/5 ship computer.
