Part of the trailing edge of the Two Thousand Worlds, Xaagr Sector is generally considered to be a barren stretch of systems. The sector is notable for a relatively thin stellar density, as well as for sitting along the Lesser Rift's rimward edge.

Description[edit]

Roughly one quarter of the sector falls within the Lesser Rift, and much of the remaining area has a relatively low stellar density. The one notable exception is the Salamander, a cluster encompassing much of a subsector that most charts assign the same name.

History: General Overview[edit]

So far as can be determined, the only significant historical events here deal with the arrival of the K'kree Crusade, the end of the Crusade, and contacts with the known aliens native to the sector by the K'kree and the Hivers. Prior to the arrival of the K'kree, there are no records or archaeological evidence so far discovered to indicate that space travel was present in Xaagr Sector.

Politics & Diplomacy (Interstellar Relations)[edit]

The Hufo and the K'kree maintain a Client-and-Patron relationship today as they have for thousands of years, and the entire sector is theoretically subject to the K'kree should they decide to expend the effort required.

The sector is used as a dumping ground by the K'kree for political exiles, who run the gamut of possible opinions about the Two Thousand Worlds they have been expelled from. Most do maintain a positive relationship with the Hufo, who go out of their way to connect and communicate with K'kree exiles within the spinward half of the sector.

As with other frontiers, Humaniti is here as well, spread thinly and often without the modern ability to travel the stars. None of the known communities are in a position to dominate the sector, or even each other.
