History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Korsumug Empire occupies parts of thirteen subsectors, including a single world on the coreward edge of Trichal Subsector.
- The Percavid Marches is a chaotic, newly-occupied, still unincorporated territory of the Empire.
- The Jend Conquest is the result of a spectacularly successful Jaibok raid. The Empire may not be able to retain control of the world.
- The Kingdom of Peladon is an independent polity dominated by Humans that shares a border with the Empire.
The rimward part of the subsector has been settled by ihatei Aslan, moving to spinward along the edge of the Great Rift in search of new territories.
- Settlement has been sporadic, largely occurring between the year 1000 and the 1060s.
- The region has no official internal organization or governance and is not considered to be a distinct polity.
- Almost all of the settled worlds are independent and non-aligned, and through necessity are largely self-sufficient.
