History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Korsumug Empire occupies parts of thirteen subsectors, including the worlds within Oscuro Subsector that form the so-called Jend Conquest.
- The Percavid Marches is a chaotic, newly-occupied, still unincorporated territory of the Empire.
- The Jend Conquest is the result of a spectacularly successful Jaibok raid. The Empire may not be able to retain control of the world.
- The Kingdom of Peladon is an independent polity dominated by humans that shares a border with the Empire.
The rimward-trailing part of the subsector has been settled by ihatei Aslan, moving to spinward along the edge of the Great Rift in search of new territories.
- Settlement has been sporadic, largely occurring between the year 1000 and the 1060s.
- The region has no official internal organization or governance and is not considered to be a distinct polity.
- Almost all of the settled worlds are independent and non-aligned, and through necessity are largely self-sufficient.
