Goals (Mission)

To maintain a defensive posture of sufficient strength to deter Sath aggression and expansion into their sphere of influence.

Strategy & Doctrine (Operations)

The main focus is on maintaining a very strong system defense. Offensive capabilities are limited. Only a small number of SDBs can be transported as battle riders into hostile territory at this time. The federation is currently limited to surgical strikes and commando military operations limited to a few small battalions at one time. Full scale planetary invasions are beyond their capabilities at this time.

There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
