Mustrak is an agricultural, nonindustrial world still lacking adequate means to expand its economy.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
- This is a "low technology" world with technology competencies well below technology standards for Charted Space.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Velous Subsector of Far Home Sector.
- It is a Voluntarily Regressive World

System Data[edit]
Zibethi-Mustrak System[edit]
The primary is Zibethi, an ordinary white main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 3.042 Sols, a mass of 1.248 Sols, and a diameter of 1.845 million km. The inner system consists of a vacuum inner world, (II) a trace atmosphere inner world, (III) a corrosive atmosphere inferno world, (IV) an exotic atmosphere hospitable world – orbital position (I) is empty. (V) Mustrak orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (VI) a very thin atmosphere hospitable world, (VII) a large gas giant, (VIII) a ringed large gas giant, and (IX) a small gas giant form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
Ondat Subsystem[edit]
The companion is Ondat, a dwarf star that lies at a mean distance of 2,840 AU from Zibethi. It has a luminosity of 0.00003 Sols, a mass of 1.11 Sols, and a diameter of 8,450 km. It does not retain a planetary system.
Mainworld Data[edit]
(V) Mustrak is designated the mainworld. It orbits Zibethi at a mean distance of 1.56 AU (233.4 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 1 year 272 days and a rotation period of 31.6 hours. The axial tilt is 22 degrees. Mustrak has a diameter of 7,122 km, a density of 5.88 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.59 G. The world is geologically active. Its atmosphere is rated as Thin, with a mean surface pressure of 0.62 bar and a composition of 80% nitrogen (N2), 19% oxygen (O2), and 1% argon (Ar), water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), ozone (O3), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. Approximately 63% of the surface is covered in seas of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.45m. Mean surface temperature: 27°C. The climate is rated as Temperate-Warm and experiences moderate seasonal changes during the local year.
Satellite[edit]
Mustrak retains a single natural satellite, a trace atmosphere worldlet named Eberon:
- (VIa) Eberon (UWP Y100000-0, orbiting at 25 Diameters/175,000 km)
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
Total surface area: 159 million km², Water surface area: 100 million km², Land surface area: 59 million km².
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Zibethi-Mustrak System[edit]
Mustrak, the mainworld, has extensive native life, consisting of microscopic organisms, stromatolite-parallels and primitive flora that can be found in almost every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
No other world in the system is known to have native life.
Ondat Subsystem[edit]
Ondat does not retain a planetary system and has no life.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
No information yet available.
World starport[edit]
Mustrak has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World technology level[edit]
Mustrak possesses a Technology Level of TL–3.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Printing press, the mechanical telegraph, and the first audio recordings.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Coal or other simple hydrocarbon fuels and early steam engines.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Bicycles and early steam coaches with advanced roadways.
- Water: Advanced sailing and early steam engine ships.
- Air: The earliest hot air balloons.
World government[edit]
Mustrak is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.
