The Mammoth class Combat Transport is an TL–10 naval auxiliary Combat Transport.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
It is a vessel with 1-G and J-1 performance with a streamlined hull. It ordinarily carries 2 x 71T Shuttles as subcraft. It has a crew of 178, a frozen watch and 26 marines as a security team .
A bulk cargo transport used to support Biumvirate fleet operations, this large streamlined saucer can carry passengers.
It is used to supply remote Biumvirate Battle Fleet task forces when they are forced to operate away from friendly ports of call. The admiralty want more built ASAP. It carries enough fuel for two jump 1s and has 1G acceleration. It can carry a pair of utility 71 ton shuttles and a platoon of marines. It has an assortment of defensive weapons to intimidate smaller vessels, but flees if encountering capital ships. It does have thirteen heavy missile bays which have proven useful in fleet operations and for orbital bombardment on several occasions.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Several assault fleet operations have involved this ship. The cargo bays can be converted to carry more troops and vehicles. The unit basic loads can be ferried down by its shuttles. Lengthy sieges as possible with spare missile reloads carried in improvised magazines. Left unhindered the surface of lower technology planets can't hold out long.
