Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance.

The Illinois class Battleship is a heavy warship.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Part of the White Fleet this TL–13 design is armed with 10 heavy missile bays, a spinal mounted meson gun, 10 particle accelerator bays, 17 batteries of fusion guns, 40 batteries of triple beam laser turrets, 10 repulsor bays, and 30 batteries of triple sand caster turrets. It carries a squadron of 12 light fighters, low watch, 122 rapid response jump troops with drop capsules. There are two Ship's Boats, two Pinnaces, and two Cutters for marine dust off and recovery. The marines have 4 SP Guns, 4 Grav Tanks, and 4 Grav APCs. Well armored and partially streamlined cylinder for gas giant refueling operations, the trade off is slower 3 Gs acceleration and no agility.
