Dlentsiviepl is a nonindustrial water world, which has 90% or more of its surface covered in an ocean of water.
- The inhabitants of this world live on the roughly 10% of exposed land mass, in underwater colonies, on city ships, or similar arrangements.
- As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- It is a member of the Zhodani Consulate in the Province of Iadr Nsobl, in the Qiedrkia Subsector of Far Frontiers Sector.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
- The world serves as the subsector capital with the significant extra trade and prestige associated with that role.
- This world-system has a Zhodani Base, usually associated with military starships, which may be located on or off-world.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]

- It is a turbulent yellow subgiant.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x10 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Dlentsiviepl is a Meso World between 10,400km and 12,000km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.7G and 0.9G. The horizon will appear about 4.7km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Dlentsiviepl has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. While the thin atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Dlentsiviepl has 95-100% of its surface covered by liquid water with only a few islands and archipelagos. Wilderness refueling is possible. Such worlds are Water Worlds or Ocean Worlds.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly watery world.)
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
World Starport (St)[edit]
Dlentsiviepl has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- The world is host to a Zhodani Base.
- A minority of popular Zhodani foodstuffs are not digestible by other Human races; eating them may result in food poisoning. Restaurants and food shops in regions frequented by non-Zhodani Humans, such as this world's startown, have menus or labels that mark which foods are appropriate for non-Zhodani.
World Population (P)[edit]
Dlentsiviepl has a population of 70,000 sophonts (tens of thousands).

This governmental structure can be stable over long periods of time if the population remains small or geographically separated.
